Why tuak makes a gift people remember

In Dayak homes tuak has always been the drink you bring out for guests — the pour of welcome, of celebration, of thanks. Giving it carries that meaning with it, which is something a generic bottle simply cannot do. It is unmistakably of this place: brewed in Sarawak from glutinous rice, ragi and palm sugar, in small batches dated like a vintage.

Personalising your bottles

We bottle in 50ml, 280ml and 750ml, with other sizes available on request. Labels can carry your names and date, a short message, or a company mark. The 50ml miniature is the classic wedding door gift — small enough to give every guest and small enough to keep afterwards. The 280ml suits close family and the bridal party; the 750ml is the format for a head table, a client, or a thank-you that needs presence.

Choosing the tuak inside

The bottle is only half the gift. Our range runs to over twenty expressions across four collections, and they do not all read the same way in someone else's hands. Fruit-forward pours from the Essence and Fusion Collections are the dependable crowd-pleasers — pineapple, roselle, watermelon. Sarawak black pepper and ginger make a more distinctive corporate gift. Beyond weddings, we put together branded sets for clients, delegates and team celebrations, and curated hampers for Gawai, Chinese New Year and Mid-Autumn that pair tuak with Sarawakian treats. We deliver nationwide across Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak, so recipients need not be in Kuching — and if you would rather choose in person, you are welcome at our Kuching showroom.

Tuak is an alcoholic drink, sold as a Sarawak native liquor to non-Muslim customers of legal drinking age. It is not halal — worth planning around for a mixed guest list.
