Tasting at the Kuching showroom

The showroom is where the whole range sits side by side. Tuak is not one flavour but a spread of them, and tasting across the collections is the quickest way to find the style that suits you — the difference between a crisp, fruit-forward pour and a deeper, savoury one is far easier to understand in the glass than on a label.

You can taste across all four collections — the heritage Essence, the experimental Fusion, the gold-finished Special Borneo Reserve and the grower-led Community Cellar. Over twenty expressions in all, each hand-finished in small batches and dated like a vintage. Releases rotate and some expressions sell out between batches, so what is open on the day varies. The full catalogue lists everything currently bottled.

Taking a bottle home

Bottles come in 50ml, 280ml and 750ml, with other sizes on request. The smaller formats make straightforward gifts and favours; the 750ml is the format for a table. If you are buying for an occasion, our gifting and custom orders page covers personalised labels and sets.

Tuak is an alcoholic drink, sold as a Sarawak native liquor to non-Muslim customers of legal drinking age. It is not halal.
